IT WAKES
The Entity hears your call… IT WAKES. It Wakes is an exclusive, English-speaking, 18+, no doubles, forum-based Dead by Daylight roleplay server. It Wakes operates within its own self-contained universe, allowing you to go further with headcanons you may have for your character.
Please be civil. If someone asks you to stop doing something, respect their wishes. Derogatory, racial, sexist, homophobic comments of any kind are not tolerated and can result in an immediate kick from It Wakes.
When staff intervention or discussion is needed due to conflict or rule-breaking, we operate on a case-by-case basis rather than a standard “three strikes” system. We do this to give each situation the proper amount of attention.
Keep everything in the appropriate channels. This is for all channels, especially when referring to NSFW or gore topics. These are opt-in channels for everyone's comfort.
We do not have a vent channel and will not be adding one. Any kind of heavy venting in our main OOC channels will be deleted by staff. If you are experiencing a dire situation, please reach out to the proper hotlines or take measures to keep yourself safe. This is to ensure a positive environment within the server. Light complaining or something non-serious is perfectly fine, however.
Please do not spam! Doing so will result in a verbal warning from staff. If the behavior continues, you will be kicked.
If you are sharing art that isn’t yours, credit the artist. If you can’t find the source, disclose that and hopefully someone can track the OP down!
Tag Content Warnings and/or Trigger Warnings and spoiler things when necessary. We want everyone to be comfortable here. If you don’t know how to spoil texts or images, ask.
Keep character/ship discourse to a low. If you do not like a character/ship and aren't asked for your personal opinion, do not provide it. If you do not like it, do not engage with it. If you have genuine concerns that something may be "wrong" with someone's character interpretation or pairing, please discuss it with a staff member. Your comfort is our number one priority.
The ships The Shape x Laurie Strode and The Nightmare x Quentin Smith and any related content are completely banned.
Even if you have the NSFW or Gore tag, you are still moderated in what you can post. Non-Con material of any kind, images of real life gore, and/or anything that fits under the tag 'dead dove' is strictly prohibited. Use your judgment. If the subject will be uncomfortable or even disturbing to some, do not post it. We understand this is a horror-based community, but we prioritize people's comfort here. Action will be taken if there are continued acts that cause discomfort. Be courteous, kind, and welcoming to one another!
